Semoto drops “Alto 10” — a club-ready blend of UKG, vintage synths, and organic textures

Semoto kicks off a new chapter with “Alto 10”, his most club-oriented track to date.

Released via Lisbon-based collective EDG, this marks his first official collaboration alongside fellow producer/DJs Ex Device and Vallechi. Built around a bouncy sequenced bassline from the legendary Jupiter 8 synth, Alto 10 channels a nostalgic yet fresh energy.

At its core lies a chopped UK Garage vocal sample that brings a distinct dancefloor vibe, while lush synth layers and a shoegaze-inspired electric guitar line add a dreamy, organic touch — a signature element of Semoto’s sonic identity.

“This track is like a guilty pleasure — I just poured in everything I love about electronic music,” says Semoto.

Alto 10 is the first single from a three-track EP set to roll out across the year. A companion remix EP will follow, featuring reinterpretations by Vallechi, JassClub, and Yoi, all released through EDG.
