VALLECHI - SOMETIMES (feat. PROXY FAE)
Built for the after-hours mind — and the in-between moments.
Vallechi shares “Sometimes”, the second single from his forthcoming EP Cherry, set for release June 2025.
Featuring longtime collaborators Proxy Fae, the track distills Vallechi’s evolving sound into a raw, spacious meditation on emotional disconnection and inner fluctuation.Built on a breakbeat percussion, ambient textures, and mantra-like vocals, “Sometimes” blurs the line between spoken word and melody. The lyrics unfold like internal dialogue: “Sometimes I feel, sometimes I think, sometimes I wonder what’s really real.” It’s a song about uncertainty — and the strange clarity that sometimes comes through it.Vallechi describes the track as “a study of inner fragmentation — the way thought, emotion, and presence never fully align, and how sound can help us navigate that space.”
Unlike the warmth of “Go Easy”, the previous single from Cherry, “Sometimes” embraces ambiguity and restraint. The influence of ambient and leftfield club music is clear, yet the track remains anchored in Vallechi’s signature approach: symbolic lyricism, emotional realism, and sonic boldness.“Sometimes” will be available on all major streaming platforms through EDG Records with Label Worx and publishing by Ultra Publishing on 7th of May.
